{"id":226,"date":"2015-07-01T17:03:06","date_gmt":"2015-07-01T21:03:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/?p=226"},"modified":"2015-07-01T17:03:06","modified_gmt":"2015-07-01T21:03:06","slug":"bead-and-button-show-part-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/?p=226","title":{"rendered":"Bead and Button Show Part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I really wish I had the funds to purchase everything I wanted at the Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee, but\u00a0I don&#8217;t, and I don&#8217;t have the space for everything either. \u00a0So, although choices were hard, I did make them.<\/p>\n<p>A new artist whom I had not seen before was Anna Chernykh of Russia. \u00a0She creates wonderful jewelry findings and pendants\u00a0works under the name <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/AnnaBronze\">AnnaBronze<\/a>. \u00a0Much of her work is very organic. \u00a0I selected two snail pendants and a pair of shell charms.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annabronze.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-227\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annabronze-729x1024.jpg\" alt=\"annabronze\" width=\"640\" height=\"899\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annabronze-729x1024.jpg 729w, https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annabronze-213x300.jpg 213w, https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annabronze.jpg 977w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>She also does wonderful steampunk work and I could not pass up her steamship pendant or the gear charms.<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annabronze2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-228\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annabronze2-814x1024.jpg\" alt=\"annabronze2\" width=\"640\" height=\"805\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annabronze2-814x1024.jpg 814w, https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annabronze2-238x300.jpg 238w, https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annabronze2.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I stopped by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greengirlstudios.com\/\">Green Girl Studios<\/a> as well. I can&#8217;t seem to resist their pewter beads and charms. This trip I snagged charms in the shape of a mushroom, pea pod and dragon. She does amazing silver work and I could not pass up this grasshopper button.<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annechoi.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-229\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annechoi.jpg\" alt=\"annechoi\" width=\"1000\" height=\"757\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annechoi.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/annechoi-300x227.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t usually buy fancy clasps, but I was intrigued by those made by Jenny Ratcliffe of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hiddentreasuresltd.com\/\">Hidden Treasures LTD<\/a>. She creates silver clasps with vintage and antique buttons. I purchased three clasps. Not sure if the bat was originally a button, but isn&#8217;t he awesome! These clasps are made to be seen, not hidden at the back of the neck, so will have to design special pieces to showcase them.<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/hidden.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-231\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/hidden-714x1024.jpg\" alt=\"hidden\" width=\"640\" height=\"918\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/hidden-714x1024.jpg 714w, https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/hidden-209x300.jpg 209w, https:\/\/blog.elizabethtaylorstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/hidden.jpg 995w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also picked up some older items.
